Our Story
Hi! I’m Kirsten, the solopreneur behind Madrona Gifts. I started this business in the middle of the pandemic, when I had a strong desire to connect to my community and immerse myself in the things that matter. As I watched the global conglomerates snatch up an even greater share of the online marketplace, I knew there had to be a better way. Coming back to community was the answer for me: Promoting local goods made by local folks, shared in a sustainable way.
Conscious consumption is “the practice of making informed buying decisions that reflect one’s values and have a positive impact on society, the economy, and the environment”. That is our mission here. We’re so happy to have you along.
